Projects
Our very own Ranz Motorsports S2K Celica GT. This vehicle was fitted with a 06 Honda S2000 motor retaining all the original underdash wiring and other parts from the s2k such as the oem digital cluster / pedal assembly / radio panel box / push button starter. This was one crazy build. But actually only took four months of process. This car was unveiled at 08 jccs and drew a lot of attention, Some gave us the thumbs up and some just didn’t like the idea that the car had a Honda motor. But what can we do when you have a donor car that was just sitting collecting dust.but eventually we didn’t come home with a trophy. The good outcome was we did get two Japanese Magazine that was willing to write an article about this car. That was actually a lot better than coming home with a trophy. The hardest task for this vehicle was looking for the parts. jdm tailights and watanabe wheels where ordered from a friend overseas. Bumpers was from Philadelphia and Randy had to drive cross country just to pick it up. but the road didn”t stop there. when he got back from Philly he found out that the bumper that he had picked up didn’t fit right. So he had to cut and weld until he finally got the right look he wanted. You can read more about this vehicle on Japanese Nostalgic Magazine and coming soon Vintage Heritage Magazine. We would like to thank all the people that made this build possible. Ranz Motorsports staff, Loker from LOKWERKZ FAB, Pitcrew Motosports, and all of our friends. Thank You for all your help and support!!!
